CARIBBEAN FRIDAYS

For the very first time, Caribbean Fridays is moving into Familiehaven! Come and experience Nemoland’s monthly tropical celebration under the open sky – now with even more room for dancing, sunshine, Caribbean rhythms, and flavorful experiences.

On Friday, May 2, Nemoland and Freetown Sound System invite you to a night filled with reggae, roots, dub, and steppers, delicious food, and deep, heavy vibes. We kick things off outdoors in Familiehaven from 4 PM to 10 PM, and then take the party inside until 2 AM.

We’ll be joined by local roots and bass heroes Freetown Sound System, bringing their full sound setup; Rockers Ark Sound led by Martin Kanan, pushing bass from Nørrebro to Vesterbro; and last but not least, Dan I Locks from Malmö – one of Scandinavia’s top MCs in the roots and dub scene.

The grill will be serving a Caribbean-inspired menu with something for both meat lovers and plant-based foodies – from Caribbean spareribs and jerk chicken with nectarine, to vegan jambalaya, mango salad with lime and coriander, and creamy coconut rice.

The music spans from the warm tones of the Caribbean to the raw underground of London – all delivered with love and lots of bass.
